Shipping Information

Sacred Roots Jewelry is handmade and shipped from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. I am happy to ship orders within Canada, to the United States, and worldwide.

Local Pickup & Delivery

Free local pickup and delivery are available for local customers.

Pickup options:

Full Circle
Private residential pickup — the address will be provided by email once your order is ready.

Free local delivery:
Please enter your full address at checkout, and I will contact you to arrange delivery once your order is ready.

Please allow up to 7 business days for local orders to be prepared. Do not arrive for pickup until you have received confirmation.

Local pickup and delivery options are only available to local customers. Orders outside the eligible area will require paid shipping.

Processing time

Shipping within Canada

Delivery times vary depending on your location and the shipping service selected at checkout.

Please keep in mind that basic or lower-cost shipping options may not include tracking.

Untracked shipping: Sent by regular mail without tracking or delivery confirmation.
Tracked shipping: Includes a tracking number provided after your order is mailed.

Each order is carefully inspected, packaged, and prepared by hand. Please allow up to 7 business days after purchase for your order to be packaged and shipped. During busy season (October - December), additional delays may occur. If you are purchasing during these months, please allow an additional week for processing and shipping. If you require your package to be expedited, please contact me directly (additional charges may apply).

Processing time is separate from the time your package spends in transit. You will receive a shipping confirmation once your order has been mailed.

Shipping to the United States

Orders travelling from Canada to the United States are considered international shipments. Unlike many domestic shipping services within the United States, tracking is not automatically included with every Canadian shipping option.

A lower-cost, untracked shipping option is available. Customers who would like to follow their package in transit must select and pay for a tracked shipping service at checkout. Canada Post’s lower-cost Small Packet USA service, for example, does not provide the same tracking features as its tracked parcel services.

After processing, delivery to the United States generally takes approximately 1–3 weeks, although delays may occur at the border or during busy mailing periods. These timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

U.S. duties, tariffs and customs charges

As of August 29, 2025, the United States suspended its former duty-free de minimis exemption for shipments valued at US$800 or less from all countries, including Canada. This means lower-value Canadian orders that previously entered the United States duty-free may now require duties and other import charges to be assessed.

U.S. orders may be subject to duties, tariffs, and processing fees based on the product’s origin and current U.S. import rules. For packages sent through Canada Post, these charges must generally be calculated and prepaid before mailing. Any applicable amount may therefore be collected from the customer before the order is shipped

Any applicable import costs are determined under U.S. customs rules and may change without notice. Sacred Roots Jewelry does not control the amount assessed by customs authorities.

International shipping

Worldwide shipping is available; however, international delivery can take several weeks or longer, depending on the destination, postal service, and customs process.

Tracking is not included with every international shipping option. Customers who would like tracking must select a tracked service at checkout when available.

International customers are responsible for checking their country’s import rules before ordering. Orders may be subject to duties, taxes, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are separate from the item and shipping prices paid to Sacred Roots Jewelry. Customs authorities determine whether charges apply based on factors such as the shipment’s value, origin, and contents.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Packages

Estimated timelines begin after your order has been processed and mailed:

These are estimates only. Holidays, weather, postal disruptions, customs reviews, and other circumstances outside my control may extend delivery times.

Untracked shipping

Untracked shipping does not include delivery scans, confirmation, insurance, or the ability to locate a package in transit. Once an untracked order has been mailed, Sacred Roots Jewelry cannot investigate its location or confirm when or where it was delivered.

Because untracked shipments are not eligible for a carrier investigation or compensation, refunds and replacements for packages reported as lost, stolen, or not received are not guaranteed. Customers accept this risk when selecting an untracked shipping option.

For greater protection, tracking is strongly recommended - especially for international orders. Tracked services may include delivery confirmation and limited coverage, depending on the service selected.

Tracked packages

If a tracked package appears lost or arrives damaged, please contact Sacred Roots Jewelry promptly with your order number and any supporting photographs. I will work with the postal carrier to open an investigation or claim when the shipment is eligible.

A refund or replacement may be offered after the carrier completes its investigation or approves the claim. Please retain all packaging and damaged items, as the carrier may request photographs or inspection.

Packages marked as delivered

Sacred Roots Jewelry is not responsible for packages that are confirmed as delivered by the carrier and are later lost or stolen from the delivery location. Customers should first check with household members, neighbours, their local postal outlet, and the carrier.

For hygiene reasons, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges on earrings or other worn jewelry. Please review all product details, measurements, and photos carefully before purchasing.

If Sacred Roots Jewelry has made an error with your order, or your item arrives with a defect or other product-related issue, please contact me within 7 days of confirmed delivery with:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photos of the item and packaging

I will review the concern and work with you toward an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement or refund for the affected item.

Requests made after the 7-day reporting period may not be eligible for a replacement or refund. Damage caused by wear, improper storage, bending, dropping, water, chemicals, or other accidental handling is not considered a product defect.

Because each piece is handmade, slight differences in colour, pattern, shape, texture (including visible fingerprints), or item placement are normal and are not considered defects.
